Hi all, I've taken out the endplate in my 2009 america to get some sounds. Have downloaded OEM aftermarket pipes map. Sounds got much better (removed snorkel too), but now I want still a bit of extra volume and think of drilling holes in 2nd plate. All this time I'll have to keep in mind that the law might change sooner or later at which point I need to take back the changes. I think the endplate can be easily put back in this new pipe model, but the holes in 2nd plate. Could they be fixed or just left there ? What's yout thoughts about it.

Drill your holes to a diameter that will tightly fit large Stainless sheet metal screws, that would reverse the change.

If you have the end plate back in place they can't prove anything else was done, so leave it.

Is that what the world is coming to, where we get pulled over and have to disassemble some component to prove compliance? Somebody invent a time machine. I might be interested in buying a ticket.

H.G. did it long before him. Used to watch Time Tunnel too, think it was made in the 60s if I remember right.

thats a great idea.
In Edmonton we have a noise bylaw and its just for bikes! 92 db at idle and 96 db at 2k rpm, well needlesss to say my bubs don't fit the bill, but honestly as long as you are not being a goof in areas that require a little more 4th or 5th gear finess i am left alone, but if its 3am and you are in a residential area at 5k rpm....well you pay the 250.
