Yep! I remember seeing the original BSA version of Vetter's creation on the cover of "Cycle" magazine back around '73 or so, and immediately loved the look of it, Ryk. I had a '71 BSA Rocket3 at the time which the Hurricane would be based upon, and for a while had thoughts of trading it in for the Vetter bike once it hit the market. But, as we now know, BSA would go under before this bike would eventually become available to the public as a Triumph.
I remember that at the time I thought the slightly extended forks(by about 1.5 inches over the stock Rocket3) looked really cool on the bike, seeing as how the whole Chopper thing was in full flow at the time, but now that's the only thing about the Hurricane I'm not crazy about.
