Because of yet another Cape Cod geezer not noticing my bike, I have the opportunity to replace my tank. (thanks to his insurance company) I thought I had seen some discussion on pingel, or other fuel petcocks, but couldn't find it.
So, is there a reason to change, or should I just transfer my current one (stock) over?
Thanks, Ted

The Pingle is a nice looking unit but I have heard some have had issues with it leaking where it seals to the tank. There is no flow advantage since your engine doesn't have a high enough demand for that to be an advantage. I would opt to keep the stock if there is nothing wrong with it. If they want to buy you a new one then buy it and keep it for a spare.

Don't use a pingle then, You'll be forever polishing and fixing instead of riding..

Not really a need to change out the oem fuel tap to a pingel. Unless you want a silky smooth fuel tap. One that actually shuts off the flow of fuel and one that will never have you guessing if you are on reserve or not.
If you decide on a pingel, cut your own gasket. Do not use the p.o.s. gasket they ship with it.
