Dingo and Frye were the two most popular brands. My guess is they still make both. It's funny how young people with their supposed independence and individuality all dressed the same back then, harness boots, bell bottoms, chambray work shirts and denim jackets. But, then I suppose every generation has their uniform.
I still wear cowboy boots, I might look in to a pair of Fryes. Not bad for riding occasionally, but very comfortable for sitting on a bar stool.
