Of my many memories of Larry, I will always cherish our first ride through the Cherohala, with a brand new passenger on the back of my Tiger. Jennifer had never been on any ride like that before that day, and I am thankful that she got to see Larry take those curves like he owned them (he did). Each time that I ride those hills, I try to be more like Larry and Chy. I know that will never happen, but it has been one of the lights of my last ten years trying.
As I sit in tears over my keyboard, I want to thank Larry again for being one of the people who made me feel more at home in the BA.com family and as a motorcyclist. He didn't have to be my friend, and I am sure as hell greatful that he was. I will miss him every day, and will think of him first each time that I start my Triumph.
Let's ride more often and more fully. Larry would demand it.
