Good morning everyone...sorry we haven't updated lately. We are a bit exhausted. Last week was a terrible week. On Monday, Larry was removed from respirator and into a private room. He has a trach which makes it a little easier for him to breathe. The biggest problem we have now is the brain injury. Not sure how all of this happened but the drs believe when he arrested twice, Larry depleted his body of oxygen therefore causing a tremendous amount of damage. He also hit his head on the car....not sure how much that contributed to the brain injury. He does not know us and is in a total vegetation state. You can image how painful this is for Jimmy. His Dad was at our house the week before the accident watching Fox news with me (i'll keep those conversations private
) and so strong to see him in this condition is just heart wrenching. Please continue to lift us up in prayer, send positive thoughts and whatever else you are doing. It has kept us going. He has had the best care and he is comfortable and not in pain. I have been angry for 14 years the way God took my Dad suddenly in a car accident 14 years ago this past October, but after going thru this ordeal with my sweet husband, I am no longer angry. I never want anyone I know or love go thru this again. We have much to be grateful and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
