I love the aggressive starts and being able to pull away from much bigger displacement bikes off the line and I have no problem with high RPMs used to squeeze them out of my old Triumphs all the time, could rev those causing no harm as long as you didn't float a valve. With my SM I have a tough time not bumping the rev limiter.
