If you mean the threaded rod just start both ends at the same time and thread in evenly until the pedal is where you want it. If not enough adjustment you can remove the lever from the shaft coming out of the primary and move it a couple teeth and then adjust the rod again to fine tune.

If the control mount is bent back or the shaft coming out of the primary ir bent forward the pedal will seem too high.
