Unless they're riding bicycles INSTEAD of cars, commuting or otherwise, I don't think there's any 'tree huggin' going on. Most of the road riders I know throw their bikes into the back of some environmental disasterpiece, take it to the Parkway, piss off everybody for an hour, then put it back in the Hummer.
