Hopefully these are not to big, added bags, oil pressure gauge, chrome reservoir covers, chrome headlight peak, rivco risers, pro one grips, chrome choke knob, rear fender rack, I just ordered a corbin, all black with black snakeskin on the top with the backrest in black, i am sure i will add a few more things if you have some idea's fire away, oh and i bought the lower chrome fork shrouds which i will put on, oh and i put EBC front floating rotors and pads on it as well... fun stuff!

Well i am not sure how to update the titles on prior posts so i hope this is ok, thought i would post some updates, just put the gaitors on today after most of you said i should and i am glad i did. Allot of extra goodies put on and i am liking the look, just a few more little things (rivco license plate relocate) and maybe a bit of bling here and there but this is pretty much it. I was thinking of painting the headlight bell black and leaving the ring and visor chrome, what do you think?

Looks good.

the bags i got from Marty in here, they are a good size not to big and not to small, carry a 6 pack and some movies on each side, all a guy needs! LOL , but i am married with kids so nice to be able to pick crap up and use the bike instead of the cage. The gaitors fit really well, these are the oem ones from newspeed. All and all i am happy with the progress, and at theparking lots there is always someone walking around having a closer look, thats nice too.

So decided to start getting rid of some of the chrome, i like chrome just not "BLING" chrome. So i got these parts powder coated to black, just waiting on the upper shrouds to be done tomorrow. You can also see the new risers i got from hellriser customs they are similar to the rivco but a 6.6" rise and a 3.7" pull back, 10mm bolts , but i really like that they are slotted like the cheese graters etc. I also had the outside of the billet manifolds powdercoated as well so i don't have to put up with that Purple look they get after being out in the sun to long. Everything is clear coated. Some front axle spikes (NSM) some rear axle bolt covers (Rivco) New carb tops, , now they look just like the cylinder on the bike. The mirrors all black except for the front half (face) that will stay chrome with the mirror in it, not sure how that will look but i am hoping ok :-) the rest you know what it is. Also wanted some shocks that had some dampening adjustments to them so i bought these 2810 from Eddy (thanks Eddy!)in black but still a few shiny parts.

Hi Mike, Love your powder coated parts. My only problem is, there's no pic with them on your bike. I know, they're probably in another thread somewhere but this thread has sort of left me hanging mate. Howaboutya put me outa me misery Pal

ok not a great pic but you can see the changes, powder-coated shrouds, headlight and visor, carb tops, put the oem risers back on (for now) with some spacers, i want to try that out but i did powder coat the rivco ones as well, did the rear peg plates as well but dremelled out the flag then clear coated, put front spike axle covers on and rivco rears, new hagon shocks, cheese grators (but i am not sold on that bought another chrome set just in case, what do you think?)mirrors now all black except the glass mount portion left in chrome, other side the flag battery cover all black, yup think thats it for now.

I agree with Marty. One thing to add to the "to do" list....
Go out and buy a can of Dupli-Color Low Gloss Black DE1634 high temp paint and a can of acetone.
Remove those carbs, give them a wipe down with the acetone, mask off any parts that should not be painted and spray them. Its takes it to a new level of ocular pleasure.

thought about doing the headers in wrap just don't want cracked headers or ones that look like crap if i decide to take the wrap off, if i had an extra set i would think about, it, did think about doing just the pipes in ceramic but not sure how it would look with the chrome headers and black pipe?
