Plug the hole in the left front of the air box, pull the vacuum line off the intake and cap the nipple, thread the lines out of the head and plug. That's all there is to it. There is nothing electrical so I don't see what resistor you would need.

Now on an EFI bike you probably need a resistor to fool the oxygen sensor.
