OK here is the deal. I am planning on heading out tomorrow for the NorEast Rally providing that it is not pouring rain. I bought a PROCOM CDI unit and I was planning on loading MAP #9 into the unit. I turned the dial to coincide with my serial # and I loaded the program on my computer. I pulled up the program and I imported the map into the program. I tried sending it to my ECU and when I hit send it says failed reading RPM from ECU. Also when I plug the ECU into my computer it recognized that I have new hardware but when I pull up MY COMPUTER on my computer I do not see my ECU anywhere. As you can see I am far from being a "Computer Guru" Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I just want to use this unit as a backup, I am not planning on installing the unit until I return or next spring.
