I know several people here own Rockets as well as (or used to own) Americas or Speedmasters, but I can only think of three off the top of my head:

Odatbob
Funkletrumpet
ME

Who else?

Sweet, John. Which version did you get? Standard, Touring, Roadster? Wow! Are you going to keep all 3 bikes now?
I'm shopping Rockets too (probably Touring) right now and this news of yours just makes me even more itchy.

I will have one as well once I get settled in my new house, so I am thinking in the spring. I have not ridden a Roadster yet but that is definitely the way I am leaning.

I wanted a roadster but this was half the price. And half is a LOT.

That would be hard to pass up then! Did you ride a Roadster? How do you think they compare?

I rode a Roadster last year but it was a supervised demo ride and I didn't get to wring it out like I did the demo bike at the Missoula dealership in 2005. I dug it but it was a limited experience. I also liked the R3T but too much, too big, too pricey.

I would love to fly and ride. Don't have the time, and at best it's a wash financially (but more likely more expensive).

Bob, if it arrives in time and I'm free from the activities involved with my current 9/26 deadline at work, I'd like to try the Oyster Run again.

wow - beautiful bike. I'm definitely interested in hearing your thoughts after some extended riding. I'm still trying to decide whether to covet a rocket or a tbird for my next ride in a few years.

...you're gonna feel a little pressure....

Very nice. Funny you should ask for a role call picked up an 08 R3T yesterday from Life Cycle Kalamazoo to add to the 04 America. Getting rid of the America didn't even seem like an option.

That's okay, Ray! There was no need to apologize there. Ya see, because John's new baby here was painted over there where you live, then technically I suppose your addition of that British superfluous-u in the word "color" wouldn't have been all that out-of-line, right?!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

BTW, take the catalytic converter off if you can.
Plenty of people doing aftermarket replacements and It gives a few more bhp. Like it needs it!
All I know is mine felt quicker. Don't know if it was psychological or not.
