We used to deliver gasoline to gas stations in an exempt from oxy fuels county. One day an EPA inspector toured all the stations telling them they were selling illegal (non-oxy) fuel and to continue to do so would ensure they will get very large fines from EPA. She was wrong. We almost lost a number of accounts from this arrogant blunder. When we caught up with the inspector, she insisted (without checking) she was right. When it was determined she was wrong, do you think the EPA or the inspector took the time to tell the stations a huge error was made an no fines would be forthcoming?
