On July 27th we had record rainfall here along the Illinois/Wisconson border. 14 inches in less than 12 hours. I woke up about 1:30 in the morning to see the whole block flooded, about three feet of water around my garage and water filling my basement. Both my Thruxton and Speed Triple were in water up to the headlights.
Both totaled by the insurance company. As "luck"? would have it my ATK was up on the lift table and only got the wheels wet. I guess i'll be thrashing my old enduro bike around until i can find another Triumph that i like as much as i did my Thruxton.
