I kinda thought it was something along those lines...couldn't imagine why one would wrap the pipes otherwise unless it was merely cosmentic (sic: blued/pitted pipes). I have run my 07 BA up to 95 mph only for a short (less than a mile as in my neck o the woods the state troopers tend to be as thick as flys on the hwys) space and danged if the breast didn't want more! I am really wanting to take the bike to Arizona or someplace where there ain't no speed limits just to see what she'll do without mods.
