My 50s style tank design is finished and implemented. I ended up using adhesive chrome tape. I like the result and if I find suitable malleable shiny metal strips (brightened aluminum?) I may use those instead to create a 3d version.    Dwight, as you can see I pursued your advice and developed the curved knee pad shape and it also resembles wings.
