So - I have acceped that I will be rejetting. I have ordered the proper mains (that's all I have to change, according to the rejetting calculator).

I've gone through Dinqua's amazing carb rejetting procedure site in detail. (really - if you haven't looked there - it's amazingly thorough - thanks!!)

The question I'm asking myself is, self? do you really need to pull the carbs just to change the main jets? It LOOKS like I could pull the bottom off the carbs, in place, replace the main jets, and reassemble. Fairly minimal disassembly required.

Has anyone tried this? (am I missing something?) That would sure speed up the process, and make it a fairly trivial activity.

(I also ordered replacement screws with allen heads, since I have read that the screws that are in there suck....what's another 5 bucks).

I eagerly await any opinions. Thanks!

...you're gonna feel a little pressure....
