I've been riding this year with no front fender, because I like the way it looks. However, living in upstate NY, the elements have finally broken me down. I can't take the water and gravel in my face any longer. I want to cut down my front fender, but I'd also like to lower it as close to the tire as possible. I know some of you have cut your fenders, but have any of you lowered them? I know the brace that's there won't work(for lowering purposes), so what have you used for mounting, when lowering it down slightly? Pics would be great if you have some.
