Diversity and taste are 2 different things. I don't like the riding position of bikes where I have to lean forward or with my feet back, others do. That doesn't make either one of us right or wrong. I am a little offended that you think I can't appreciate them without really liking the style. Nor do I want one but I can appreciate the work ,time, money, engineering etc... that went into them. I also like a diverse collection of motorcycle just not the same set you do and probably not the same set as many others. I never said anyone had to agree with me or that they were wrong in their opinion but , unlike you, I don't suggest anyone else is somehow inferior because they don't agree with my tastes. I don't like the look or riding position of that new Norton, nor do I have to. I appreciate all the fine engineering that went into it and the quality of the parts that went into it, it is still butt ugly to me. My BMW is far from a cruiser, it has a std riding position as do several of my Triumphs like my 54 and 58 T110s or my 72 T120V among others. I tend to like old things and the old styling same goes with cars for me. Given a choice I like cars and trucks styles from the 20s through the late 60s for the most part. Most new cars all look the same to me, that doesn't make me narrow minded any more than liking the bike I do does. Kids at work like these new Hondas and to me they are disposable cars neither one is right just taste. So time to come down off your pedestal and realize not everyone needs to agree with you to be just in their tastes.Just like they don't need to agree with me to be just in their opinions either.
Speaking of Ducati, I like a few of their bikes as I do Guzzis too. Almost bought a V twin Ducati 650 a couple years ago.
