Norton Villiers Triumph was the Government attempt to merge Norton with BSA-Triumph. 1973 to 1975. The forced merger failed. Norton was considered the big dog of that merger at the time. He may be two years right. BSA was the big dog in BSA Triumph for about 20 years leading up tot he forced merger.
In 1975 Triumph was the only thing left standing. Weak but standing at Meriden.
