That's the price that has to be paid for cheap products so that profits remain high.
I won't even pick on Wal-mart as all major retailers are equally guilty of selling slave produced goods.
And it's way more than just China. Practically every "developing" country with a totalitarian form of government uses slave labor to make products for export.
Some companies that move production to foreign countries actually raise the standard by paying a living (for the area) wage and improving conditions for the workers.
Do a little research before you buy. Support Fair Trade companies and boycott slavers.
