I agree, Ed. I've been spending a LOT of time over at the r3owners.net site lately trying to find out the same stuff as Celt is. I'm planning on getting one next year at some point when I find a deal. Anyhow, it seems the biggest issue is the resolved Ignition switch deal. I would like to hear some comments if you could about the COST OF OWNERSHIP on a Rocket vs. a BA or speedy.
well that is loaded question and I will be very honest with my answers now as far $$$$$ it does cost more to ride as far gas & the oil change is more only because you drain from 3 place and you need o-rings stuff like ..but I believe you get that money back because shaft drive.... "no chain or sprocket" and as far accessories the 2009 and on RT3 come loaded ...
now I know you own a triumph and get asked a ton of question ...now triple that with this bike
people will go that bike is way to heavy.. I say no and once again I will be honest it's like any new bike you get it will take you a couple days for you and the bike to be come one and feel it out ... once you have a couple of day on this bike the heavy go's away.. in fact by the end of the week you find this bike to handle just as well and yes I will say it better.....
my wife love's this bike nothing else to say there..
now when looking for deals look for last year bike that is how i got mine my is a 2009 i got in aug 2010 and mine was brand new not a demo and I got mine for a great deal and I mean great deal
