We have an 18 year old son who will be graduating from high school and also receiving his AA degree from college (early start program) at the same time in June. He has been drooling over Thruxtons for the last couple of years so that is our leaning for him. There's something to be said for what he has achieved at 18 and has proven beyond responsible so we will be purchasing a bike for him as a gift. Obviously a Triumph. He is an experienced dirt bike rider but no time on the street. Any suggestions or input?
JT, That is awesome about your son! He definitley deserves the Thruxton if that is his style. You already know how our motors are in our bikes, so you know how much power the Thruxton has and whether or not he could handle it. I think that just with the overall size of the bike, like ours it is a good bike to start with or for someone experienced.
If you are moving up here this summer, in Beaverton is Cascade Moto Classics. Kelly and Janice own the shop and are absolutley awesome people to deal with.
