Yea your too nice about it. If the victims of these crimes would just shoot into the crowd of criminals. They could accomplish two things; decrease the surplus population, and educate the survivors.
Notice I said victims as in citizen victims, not the already heavy handed jack booted thugs. The more rights a citizen has the less the government has. In effect making the individual more independent and free he is.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.
