He lost the plot. He came into a righthander from the righthand side of the road. He is lucky to be alive.

Whenever I read or hear the term "Near Miss" I always think of George Carlin. A "Near Miss" is when they actually do hit. A "Near Hit" is when they don't.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

That was scary. Bet he slows down a bit and watches his corners better next time.

THAT boy needs DESPERATELY to learn how to LATE APEX into turns, IF:
(a) he wants to continue to ride that fast
(b) he wants to stay alive
(...the answer here is, of course, BOTH (a) AND (b)!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Nope Wade. I'll betcha it was set on MPH, alright. First, because why would he set it to KPH while riding on California's Angeles Crest Hwy?
And secondly, because I, myself, have traveled that fast on that particular stretch of road on my old 900 Sprint in the past.
(...btw, I never said the above if anyone asks!)

If you watch that speed drops quick before the car get in his sights... low 60s mid 50s by the time he's on the other side of the car. He lost his nuts on that turn and could have still pushed through easily but he freaked. Ill bet he saw that car and tunnel visioned vs looking through the turn. That key jumps forward too... I wonder how hard he was baking to make that key move up like that.
