I get emails from "Triumph Motorcycles" <Info@triumphmotorcycles.co.uk> and my antivirus software puts them in my junk mail folder and states a warning that opening these may be a phishing scam. I've never opened them but there is an offer of up to 65% on clothing. Do you think it's safe to open these emails?

Thanks guys,

Alan

Nope, Alan, its legit- I just opened mine and nothing bad happened....or if it did its not happneed yet.
On the other hand I've never seen anything in the way of 'branded triumph wear' that I'd wear.
If a commercial company wants me to be a walking billboard for it's merchandise, it can darn well pay me to do so, not the other way around.
Besides I already know what I ride without needing to remind myself by looking at my t shirt....
Now, a nice pair of winter mittens that mummy can tie to my coat sleeves....now your talking.

BTW, phishing is when they try to get your personal details

Yeah?! Well, they can have ALL my "personal details" if they want! I'VE got NOTHIN' to hide.

(...that whole thing with the whips, chains and handcuffs NEVER happened, I tell ya!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I don't worry about identity theft, who in their right mind would want to be me?
