Quote: I had an "underbody flush" once. It's not something I like remembering...
Euphemism for a colonoscopy? I have a healthy respect for any medical instrument that measures by the foot!
I'm a private investigator, doing mostly criminal defense, but some civil litigation (plaintiff's personal injury and accident work), and skip trace work. Licensed in California, where I came from after 10 years n the Army, but work in Colorado (no licensing requirement).
Finished a trial yesterday, verdict today (not good - 0 for 7, guilty on counts from 1st degree murder to 3rd degree assault on a prior event that was joined with the newer case. Charged as a non-Death Penalty case so client is LWOP (life w/o parole), plus about 24 years (don't ask me how they get that much out of someone). My compliments to our DA's office, they did an outstanding job, no cheap shots (even from our skewed point of view).
It's a challenging profession, and, as in this case, may take a year out of your life, not one hour, less commercials. Now it's back to my two typical types of cases; guns 'n drugs, and drugs 'n guns.
