since 1982 i have been a mainframe systems programmer specializing in IBM's Customer Information Control System (CICS), an unparalleled product that although invented in the U.S.(Richmond VA, by Ben Riggins, 1968) has been supported by IBM in Hursley, England since 1974. every time you use an atm card or a credit card, you usually use, among other things, CICS. Most every time someone keys information into a computer screen - at the airport, the hospital, the car reservation desk etc., and hits 'enter', CICS is working in the background. I work for Lockheed Martin doing onsite support for the Social Security Administration. I'm vying for a switch to the dark side, hoping for a government job. same seat, same hat, same pay, better bene's and more time off. with wife for 11 super bowls, married 6, with a 2 year old son.
