I lived in Stephentown, NY. The signs say "The only Stephentown on Earth". Not sure how they figured that out. It is south of Granville (just looked it up) also on RT. 22. I suppose Stephentown is more east than north of Albany. Still love the country up there, what a beautiful place. And pretty cold. I manage to get up there once a year or so, but not with the bike.
I used to drive up to Bennington, VT to have a few drinks when the age changed to 21 in New York, but had remained 18 in VT.
