The positive crankcase valve (PCV) has nothing to do with water.It's purpose is to siphon off unspent fuel gases and water vapor that build up in your engine's crankcase.I suppose in a pinch you could put a hose in between but I don't think it's all that necessary.The only adverse effect is that your fuel economy will suffer but not by much.Just try to get the proper parts in place A.S.A.P.
