The R1200C is very much like the America/Speedmaster. Both weigh about 497 lbs, same size rims and tires, both with about 61 hp, but the 1200C has 70 ft/lbs torque. It also has shaft drive with a single sided swingarm. The spoke wheels on the 1200C use tubless tires due to the design of the rims, the spokes are on the outside of the rims (outside of the tires). The handling is very much the same but the 1200C does not dive in the front end due to the unique front end design. I have a 2000 with about 25,000 miles purchased about 7 months ago for $6k. It usually averages about 47-52 mpg. The battery and air cleaner are under the gas tank making checking or changing a bit more difficult. The passenger seat also serves as a rider back rest if riding alone.
