Explain something to me. I live near 'the Dragon' or, as we call it, 'just another road'. It's usually crowded, has lots of cops, and any road in any direction is pretty similar. Why is it such a Mecca?
In my opinion - because it's at the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway which is truly beautiful. After 480 miles atop the Parkway the Dragon did seem kind of bland, I'll agree.
