The Mobil 1's racing 4T spec oils are the only oils that Mobil 1 make that are actually full synthetic (group 4 and group 5 oils). Everything else Mobil 1 makes is mostly a group 3 petroleum oil blend (with Group 4 and 5 oils) that they call Synthetic. In reality they are just a semi-syn oil. Only a couple of oils out there that are actually full Synthetic, and they cost more. If it doesn't cost at least $9.00 a quart then you are buying a semi-syn oil no matter what it says on the package.
It's what they call marketing..........or rather misinformation.
