on one of the rides i enjoy riding there is a stretch that for about 10 miles there are orange groves on both sides of the road, and at certian times of the yr the smell of blossoms is soooo pleasant i have been known to stop and ENJOY the wonderfull aroma for a few (very similer to jasmine for those that dont know) the problem is that right after passing thru that wonderfull area there is a pig farm and brother i am here to tell ya that pigcrap is like a smack in the face after riding thru that jasmine like smell for at least 10mi.
but for the most part i ENJOY the different smells of nature but have you ever run over a dead skunk at night when you didnt see it in the road and you are 20mi from anything and the smell just stays with you untill you can get to a hose
