I have to chime in here for Texas as well. 66% of all bikes in Texas are Harley's, just a demographic. But I always get waves and only the odd person doesn't. And even with that I figure that like me, they may be preoccupied in other thoughts (such as the cage or turn ahead of me). We have the friendly rips, but that's about it. The only place I don't get respect is at the HD dealers. They don't know what to think and usually avoid a comparison discussion.
