I've had mine out a couple of times and even bought another set of wrapped inserts from Dale a couple of years ago. Both sets were wrapped end to end and taped. I'm about to pull mine out and completely re-wrap again with new 4-stroke baffle material. You can wrap a whole sheet on each one if you cut pieces of wire and use the wire to tightly wrap and hold them together. It should make a huge difference. Just re-wrapping myself from the factory ones made quite a difference. I like them with as much as you can wrap and get them back in. Takes all the raspyness out but keeps the great low end sound.
I replace the material about every 2 years (8K miles).
