Don't buy a Thruxton if you don't like talking about your bike. While waiting for ferries over the last couple weeks more than a two dozen people have come over and asked all about it. The usual stuff; what year?, they're still making bikes?, who makes that? what size is it? where's the dealer around here? I used to have one of those, etc. The other bikers around me were getting tired of hearing the same questions and answers.
But I am patient and answer all of their questions and convey to them my extreme pleasure with the bike. The ones that ask how much absolutely can't believe it. Lucky for me the wait for a ferry is only about a half hour at the most.

Like Mr. Thompson said, 'On my tombstone they will carve, "IT NEVER GOT FAST ENOUGH FOR ME."'
