Ooooh, a rare chrome side cover. Original or did you find a way to have it chromed?

that is the chrome side cover model that increases the HP out by a factor of X10 due to sexy / shiny power.

It's scientifically proven that chrome is a smoother surface than clearcoat and therefore more aerodynamic...

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

I really like the paint. Can you tell me what particular gray shade that is? I have an idea for painting my speedie next winter and that shade of gray or something very similar will be used.

i actually had to have the darker gray (graphite) touched up when my old bags rubbed it. i know my body guy still has the paint codes. i will call him, may take a day or two. as for the lighter silver i don't know. it is factory paint btw.

Lady Steel is back, and ready for the long haul out west...

This year she is sporting a new Memphis Fats Drop Top Windshield, elegant enough for the office; but a quick adjustment and low cut enough for a romantic dinner. complementing the Windshield we have matching lowers and hand shields, altogether making buffeting and wind noise a thing of the past.

Now lets check out that bling! Lady Steel is sporting chrome controls by Custom Dynamics, with extra wide Western Bars, and those ugly wires are thing of the past. Check out those forks fellas, that's right, this lady has smooth stems. She's also sporting over sized Dunlop whitewalls, LED headlight, mini bullet turns and Heat Demon heated grips.

Of course this lady is no tramp, so she offers the maximum comfort available with an extra set of passenger pegs, achieving a barber chair seating position. She's no shrinking violet gents, Lady Steel will be heard with a matching set of PIAA car horns. Now let's remember, true beauty starts with what you CAN'T see... The Lady sport a 904, and she goes commando when it comes to the air box. She is sporting quite a nice pair of Sudco Mikuni flat back racing carbs, and a racing clutch from Gately boys at Bonneville Performance, and of course steel braided cable all the way around.

Yes sir, the only lady more precious than this one would be the one I married back in February...she rides too...and we'll be starting work on her T100 this winter. Happy Trails y'all.

...and please don't comment on the flip flops, it is just a show and tell pic...

I see she's dropped the chrome from her sidecover. Scandalous!

Looking good!

Ha! The chrome guy took me, didn't last. That cover is currently being re-chromed.

Love the bike Bill! Beautiful.

I have an '06 as well--wondering if you can explain a bit about your tires? You say "over-sized Dunlops." I need new tires and love the WW's. What sizes are you running? Did they require any adjustments to make them fit? Stock rear shocks?

Thanks--John

they are:
170/80-15 WWW (77H) Dunlop K555 Rear Motorcycle Tire

120/90-18 WWW (65H) Dunlop K177 Front Motorcycle Tire

the only modification you will need to make is taking the front fender bracket to a machine shop and have them add metal to it to raise it about 2/4 of an inch.

sorry, darn bad eyes, i meant 3/4 of an inch. but the best way is the mount the front tire and then measure, there will be a little gap already; but as soon as the tire gets hot it will run the bracket.
