Never having taken my BA to the point where the rev limiter kicks in, I wound it up this morning. At high revs,(I don`t have a tach yet), it started cutting out, much like the plugs breaking down. Is this how the rev limiter works or do I have bad plugs? 02 with 3200mi on the bike.
Thanks!
Ed

This is how it works. How fast were you going in what gear?

If she is running fine otherwise, I'd bet you hit the limiter.

A bit disconcerting the first time, eh?

Thanks for the input. Finally had a chance to take it out for a ride given all the rain we`ve had. Beanache, 40mph in 1st, and 65mph in 2nd (18 tooth sproket). RPMs begin to flaten out just prior to cutting out. Feels like flying blind without a tach. I think red does go faster.
