Yep Thanassis. Once again, I think their(the Gilroy-based enterprise) failure had that familiar ring to it...the lack of deep pockets in order to continue their R&D and get past the initial hiccups these kinds of ventures inevitably run into. It was the same with Kenny Dreer's failed attempt at reviving the Norton brand.

Now, I just wonder how deep Stuart Garner's pockets run, because there certainly seems to be some kind of major hiccups involved right now with his Norton revival plans. Those beauties were supposed to be available to the public over a year and a half ago, and yet still there's pretty much just a handful supposedly out there on the road.

And, once again, as we know, much of the reason Triumph has become successful was primarily due to John Bloor's VERY deep pockets, because it took him over a decade to get into The Black on the ledger board with his Triumph venture.


Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
