Something about "generic Temurpedic" doesn't sound right. Kind of like "generic Triumph". Lesser expensive copies are just that. My Tempurpedic is over 6 years old and is showing no signs of change. I live in Florida and I don't notice the bed being hotter than my conventional previous bed. The Tempurpedic comes with a 20-year warranty. I doubt the cheaper "generics" do.
We are planning to buy an RV this year and plan to get it with the cheapest mattress offered and replace it with a Tempurpedic.
