I have a generic Tempurpedic. In the summer it does get HOT. Unless you keep your bedroom ice cold it will be hard to get used to. On that note,, almost any new bed I sleep in requires 2 to 3 weeks to get used to.

I don't know about the high dollar foam beds, but after 5 yrs, the memory sorta does wear out. The center of the bed is firmer and taller. Not visually, but when you lay down on it, you can tell where each person normally sleeps.
