Hey Foglefar, i think you just hit the nail smack on the head!
I was never that concerned about career or possesions and just kind of drifted thru life.
All changed when i met my wife, 9 years ago, and more so when i had a son, at age 43. He is now 6 and makes me realise life is short and should be enjoyed with family and friends. The rest is just window dressing!
You should also make time for the bike runs and occasional blast of a party!
