"Shot"!!!
Well, I'd say that THAT'S really inconsiderate of them!
Look, I understand you're more a "rural" sorta guy. That's cool. And what's "cool" about that is that, YES, there's a lot less folks around who you can "irritate" and who'll irritate you. COOL!!!
But, here's the thing. The VAST majority of American now live in urban and suburban environments where these little "irritants" abound because they're many many more people around!(hey, that rhymed!)
And so, because of these logistics/demographics, by necessity, and in order for more and more people to live together in a SOMEWHAT more mutually livable manner, people EITHER have to self-impose some semblance of, let's say "decorum" in their environment, OR what often happens, measures to "enforce" a modicum degree of "decorum" are pushed down our throats by those "Do-Gooders" that Mac was talkin' about earlier.
Now, you may say that "I'll fight for my freedom to keep that from happening!". Okay, fine. BUT, remember what I said about the vast majority of Americans living in those urban/suburban environs? Well, ya see, the reason all those folks livin' there are often seen by the rural citizenry in this country as bein' where most of "those darn ol' Do-gooders live" is because, as I said before, they live in an environment where by necessity...well, I think you get it, right?!
And don't forget, with the vast number of those folks livin' there, ALSO comes a vast number of VOTES those folks have that could, and often does, effect everybody in this country.
And ALSO don't forget, those are often the very same "vast number of folks" who have never ridden a motorcycle in their sad little lives. And so, often the only thing they "know" about "those motorcycles" is that they're "noisy"(irritatingly so, often) and they're "dangerous.
And so...WHY WOULD WE WANT TO PISS THEM OFF??????? They've got the votes to screw with us, ya see!
