Went for a drive Sunday and the speedometer/odometer was working fine,went to work this morning and it wasn't working.Anybody have any issues with there's.My bike is a 07 speedmaster

Disconnect the speedo cable from the speedometer head and see if the cable is ok. Mine broke about six inches below the speedo. If the cable is ok, then check the speedo drive at the front axle.

Another check to see if everything is ok is to check to see if the odometer is working even if the speedo isn't. If the odometer works, everything below the speedometer should be fine and the problem is in the speedo head.

Common problem. Just replace and keep it lubed.

How does one lube their speedo cable? I guess I should do this...yes?

There is probably some generic lubricant that will do the job, but I know back in the day, I bought some speedo lube from my Yamaha dealer, disconnected it from the speedo, and shot it down from the top, and sprayed it up from the bottom. 98% of the lube spray can went to waste.
