Did my tapered pipes over the winter. Got a piece of 1/2" steel rod from home depot about 36" long. Used my dremel and a file to make a semi-sharp edge, stuffed it in there and carefully wailed away with my baby sledge. Checking every few whacks to see what I was doing. Just keep at it until you get it loose. Gotta be a bit creative to get the metal ring around the baffle out. I fished it out with some stiff wire and then used pliers to bend it until it would fit out the end. I took out 3 of the 4. Still not quite where I want it. Gonna take out the 4th when I get some time to tinker.
