Oh and thanks to Libbys Motoworld in New Haven, CT. Nice bunch of people, free t-shirt and 20% off that helmet I bought. Shari set that up, too.

Brad and Walt: So glad you were able to come out to play and stay out
Dave: Modern is next to the Mobil station...i swear. sorry it took so long for me to put your name with the rear rack. it's going on tomorrow. I am really glad you joined us.
Mike: thanks for bringing up the rear, being funny and catching the subtle stuff.
The Libby's boys were thrilled to have you guys stop in; $$ spent or not.
It's lonely in the front; but i couldn't think of a nicer bunch of guys turning the twisties behind me.

Now if you want "good pizza", next time you'll have to meet at the Hope Icehouse Bakery & Pizzaria. Apparently some ex-patriot New York Pizza maker dropped out of the sky and started baking pizza pies in Hope, Idaho. It a little Bohemian (code talk for hippie) old timey converted Ice House place overlooking Lake Pend O' Reille. Hope has a population of maybe 200, East Hope a few less.
Anyhow, I met Roadie in Sandpoint for lunch today and we didn't see you guys anywhere. I'm sure we had the right place????? There were boats, somebody mentioned a boat, there were trains, well freight trains.
Maybe next time. Etta James is on Austin City Limits, you'll have to excuse me now.......

(Thanks for lunch Del, nice meeting your wife)

Shari - Thanks for putting the ride together. I had a lot of fun and you did a great job leading us. It was nice to meet the rest of you guys and put some faces to the names around here. Your 'online' persona's don't do you justice! I hope to see you all next time around.

Hey guys, als always I'm never dissapointed when I finally get to mee some folks in person! Great time was had by all. And the ride was spaced out just right with enough stops that I didn't get too tired, after all it was my first all day ride of the season! Thanks again Charlie! Pizza was excellent. Matt and I polished off the better part of a schroom pie ourselves! Mmmmm. I may thro together a full on ride report when I get home. I'm still at my friend's place in Newington. I think he's still slightly comatose from the ginormous rib-eyes we had last night Mmmmmmmmm!

I don't know where to begin. This may be a long one.
First of all, to Mert: WOW did you pull this off with style! It was a super day, that turned into a great weekend for me, I did over 325 miles!(I'll go into details later). Thanks again for putting this ride together, everything worked liked clockwork.
To everybody else, it was great meeting, and riding with you guys. That was some of the BEST apizz I've had in a while. Real Italian pie, most of the places around me are Greek, and it's not the same.
After our Starbucks stop, I headed North on 91 with the guys. As they all peeled off at their respective exits, I waved good bye, and kept heading North. My bike was running, and feeling, great, so, I rode until it got dark. This landed me in West Springfield,MA. I got a hotel room, a six-pack, and a Subway sandwich. I called a girl I knew from high school, who lives in Cromwell,Ct, and she called me back Sun morning, saying we could meet for breakfast, if I could get there between 9:30 - 9:45. It was about 8:40, and I was about 40-50 miles away. I jumped in the shower, stuffed my things into my little Triumph bags, and I was doing the ton South on 91. We had a nice Breakfast, and I headed home on the Parkway. I stopped to fuel up, and was making a call on my cell phone, when who goes by but Benny. I tried to catch up, but by the time I got suited up he was long gone.
Let's do this again! I know some nice roads in Westchester, or I want to go over to LI, and let Benny show us some of his stuff.
To all, it was my pleasure. Looking forward to the next ride.

Hey by the way, when I fueled up this morning, I had 90 miles on the tank, and it only took 2 gallons! I guess our somewhat relaxed pace can pay off, I'm usually averaging mid 30's lately, not mid 40s!

I hope you all have a great time, I wish I was there! Tomorrow, after work I think I'll ride North on 7 into Litchfield Co., and maybe Mass. Any takers? I'd like to hook-up with anyone along the way, up or back.
