 Any white wall tyres for front ?

Hiya!
Ive been told ( by the M.O.T Man) that my front tyre is on the legal limit, so time for a new one.
Ive mailed my local bike tyre place and they say the only tyre they can source for the front is a Avon Venom 100/90-18 56H @ £88 fitted and balanced.
But, I really want a White wall tyre, any ideas if they actually exist and if so, where from (in UK)

The search function works nicely on this site, and can lead you to an large trove of knowledge. I keyed in "white wall" with a 6 month range and came up with 2 very usefull threads.
This one was key to my decision to go with a white wall (and reminds me that I owe pics) Hopefully the Dunlops are available in the UK: http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...part=1&vc=1

Yup... as far as I know the ONLY WWW tyre on the planet that'll go on the front of our bikes is the Dunlop K177 120/90-18. Those two threads Carl pointed out will tell you everything you need to know (except maybe if that particular tyre is available in the UK).

Thanks guys, appreciated, looks like not available in the Uk, and Im lacking the skills to make up a bracket so they'd fit anyway!, shame I really fancy a whitewall, especially after seing those pics!

I've been on here for years and still havn't figured out this "search" function. Typed in exactly what you said and got "no matches".
The search worked for me. If you use the " " marks it searches for posts with the whole phrase WHITE WALL. If you don't include the " " marks it finds posts with WHITE or WALL.

You can also search on +white +wall to force it to match both words.

A couple of other notes on searching.
- If you use single quotes instead of double quotes, the search wont work right.
- If using double quotes surrounding the string, an extra space between white and wall messes things up. Johns suggestion to use +white+wall is the best way to do it.
- The search defaults to the last forum you were in. I generally switch to "all forums" in the forums to search pane unless I know that I am looking for something in the tech talk area or a specific forum.

I'm afraid that was my conclusion too after trying to source one .....Metzler also claim to do a white sidewall but a) I've just thrown out the catalogue I used to search for this and b) I couldnt find a UK stockist either.

I also found out that you cannot get a whitewall tyre for the america/Speedmaster so I gave up and decided to against the Metzelers I usually buy and bought a matching pair of Avons
