As the older filters sell off, newer ones come.

I USUALLY can't get the same shot glasses again, so when their gone, well, you know.
But here's the replacements for the larger filters with shot glasses. I DO still have SOME of the older lot, and I continue to try and find exact replacements, when possible.

Well I picked up these off ebay and well, let's just say I'm less than satisfied. Neither of them looked painted in the original ad.

Yeah, I've bought plenty that show up in less than expected condition.

Thank heavens I'm not trying to sell "new" stuff.

I don't know what your plans are for the Bull Dog pin, but IF your not planing to use it, or if it was inexpensive and easily available, send it to me, IF interested, and I'll see if it will bend to fit a filter.
Since it's so small, it may bend without cracking.
IF it does crack, but the pieces stay in place so it can be covered with clear coat, you may still be interested.
Give it some thought.
IF I "F" it ALL UP, you can do like the guys on the "other" sites, and block me from future posts.

I've only been listing my bigger (car filters) on ebay, cause I've been busy enough with the smaller ones on these three forums.
But since I need to stockpile some funds for our eight day ride around N.C., & GA., I am adding some of the newer designs here for ya'lls review, but must post any not taken soon on ebay, starting early next week.

Noting some of you may be Firefighters/Paramedics, I thought some may be interested in these newer ones.
Remember--These filters are, on average, 75 years new!
(but work flawlessly, and will NEVER ware out.)
Enjoy;

And three larger ones;

Peace,
Erle.

Over the last three years or so, I've only come across six of the filters needed to make these Jim Beam filters.

There's one in Australia, one in Colorado, Two in California, and two in Florida. (though I think the one in Merritt Island is sitting on a shelf ).

I've sold OTHER filters to members of this site, the TCU site, the NBR site, and on ebay, but I've ONLY sold these Jim Beam filters to members of this site!

In a twist of fate, I've come across three of these recently, and therefore I now have three ready to ship!

If you want one, PM me. I'll wait a week or so before posting any that are not taken on the other sites.

If your interested in any of the others in this thread, PM me, about half are still avalible, and some new ones are soon to follow.

Below are a few pic's of these filters on my BA., Jims (SDKimo) bike, and Scotts (CAPTSTP) VW.

Peace!

In response to a members recent inquiry, I need to clarify.

For the last year now, as stated on pages 9 & 10 of this thread, The Jim Beam filter is $115 + Shipping to members only, and ARE NOT advertised on ebay.

All others are still $85, but many have been sold, and only the few left will be available for the $85.

Due to the amount of trouble, time, and expense for the vintage filters, shot glasses, gasket material, and time to modify, I won't be able to continue to offer any for $85.

Starting the first of the year, (or any not already completed), they will ALL be $115.

Sorry. (kinda has that same tone as the form notices from the utilities companys, don't it? )

ANYWAY, Don't be hatin', I've ALREADY told ya'll how to make them yourself's

Peace,
Erle.

Well, 2012 was pretty good for the folks (me) at Ghetto Shed Products!

Sold 26 filters worldwide, with 8 going to members of THIS site, total gross over 2K, with a selection, INCLUDING the HIGHLY COVETED Jim Beam filter, now listed on ebay under "Glass Fuel Filter".

BUT!, I would like to remind everyone that Ghetto Shed makes many products (trinkets) other than just filters. Bar ends, custom badges, Patent plates, vertical tag mounts to name a few.

NOW, I'd like to share a new line of products for connoisseurs of FINE products from Peterson, Balkan Sobranie, Aged Burley Flake, etc.

All except the grenade pipes, and the air chuck between them, are made from tire pressure gauges.

Like ALL Ghetto Shed Products, These are guaranteed for LIFE! The small, beat-up chrome over brass one, second from the right side, is MY personal piece, circa 1976, and is testament to the longevity of these products!

Peace!
